Shivlornghar provides furniture and décor rental services for events. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, returns, and refunds related to our rental services.
Reservation Cancellation
If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms vary based on the timing of your cancellation relative to your rental date.
Cancellation Timeline
Refunds for cancellations are processed according to the following schedule:
- More than 30 days before rental date: Full refund minus a $50 administrative fee
- 15-30 days before rental date: 50% refund of total rental fees
- 7-14 days before rental date: 25% refund of total rental fees
- Less than 7 days before rental date: No refund available

Item Substitutions and Changes
Changing Rental Items
Subject to availability, you may request to change rental items after your initial booking:
- Changes requested more than 14 days before rental date: No additional fee
- Changes requested 7-14 days before rental date: $25 change fee per item
- Changes requested less than 7 days before rental date: Subject to availability and may incur rush fees
Unavailability of Items
In the rare event that a reserved item becomes unavailable, we will:
- Contact you immediately to discuss alternatives
- Offer comparable substitute items at the same price
- Provide a partial refund for any items we cannot replace
- Offer to cancel your entire reservation with full refund if acceptable substitutes are not available
Early Return of Rental Items
If you return rental items before the scheduled pickup date:
- No refunds are provided for early returns
- You remain responsible for rental fees for the full agreed rental period
- Pickup arrangements can be made by contacting us in advance
Extended Rental Period
If you need to extend your rental period:
- Contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup date
- Extensions are subject to item availability
- Additional rental fees will apply for extended periods
- Extended rental rates may differ from standard rates
Item Condition and Inspection
All rental items are inspected before and after each rental period:
- Items are delivered in clean, functional condition
- Pre-rental photos may be taken for documentation
- Items must be returned in the same condition, accounting for normal wear and tear
- Post-rental inspections are conducted upon pickup
Damage and Repair Charges
You are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear:
- Minor damage (scratches, stains): Repair costs as assessed
- Moderate damage: Repair costs plus 20% administrative fee
- Significant damage or loss: Replacement cost plus 20% administrative fee
Optional damage protection plans may be available to reduce your financial responsibility. Please inquire about protection options when booking.
Weather-Related Cancellations
For outdoor events, cancellations due to severe weather conditions:
- Must be requested at least 48 hours before the rental date
- Require confirmation of severe weather warnings or conditions
- May qualify for full refund or rescheduling without penalty
- Normal cancellation terms apply if weather is not severe
Special Circumstances
Emergency Cancellations
In cases of documented emergencies (illness, natural disaster, etc.), we will work with you to find an appropriate solution, which may include:
- Full or partial refund
- Rescheduling to a later date
- Application of fees toward future rentals
Venue Changes
Changes to delivery address after booking confirmation:
- More than 7 days before rental: $35 address change fee if new location is outside original service area
- Less than 7 days before rental: Subject to feasibility and may incur additional delivery charges
Refund Processing
All refunds are processed as follows:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Processing time: 10-14 business days after cancellation confirmation
- You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed
- Additional time may be required by your bank or credit card company
Disputes and Resolution
If you have concerns about charges, item condition, or service:
- Contact us within 48 hours of item pickup to report any issues
- Provide photos and documentation to support your claim
- We will review and respond within 5 business days
- We are committed to fair resolution of all disputes
Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective for reservations made after the policy update date. Current customers will be notified of material changes affecting their existing reservations.
